Description: For younger adults who have experienced the loss of a spouse or partner and their young children who have lost a parent. Adults will explore their grief and reflect on issues concerning single parenting. Children will use art, music, and play to better understand their grief. Adults and children will also have family time to grieve together. You do not need to have children to participate.
After Your Parent Dies
Description: Five weekly support sessions for adults who are working through the unique pain and healing process of grieving the loss of one or both parents. Share ideas and discuss various topics.
Grief 101: The First Step
Date-Time: One time, two-hour session
Description: An educational meeting that provides a basic understandingof grief and loss and prepares participants for further group experiences. Offered twice monthly, both day and evening. Please call for dates, times, and locations.
Men in Grief
Description: Four weekly support sessions for any man who is grieving. This group is conducted by men, for men to discuss practical tips for managing everyday life following the death of a loved one.
Supportive Spouses
Description: Five weekly support sessions open to recently bereaved menand women who are adjusting to life without their mates.
Pathways
Description: Six weekly support sessions open to all adults who want toexplore the spiritual dimensions of the loss of a loved one.
Holiday Grief Workshop
