Anton Bernhoffer Obituary

Anton “Tony” Phillip Bernhoffer, age 59, of Toledo, Ohio passed away at home on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. He was born December 31, 1959 in Toledo, OH to Anton and Yvonne (Mitchell) Bernhoffer. Anton earned his degree in Chemical Engineering and was employed as a Chemist. He was a proud Veteran of the US Army. He was also an avid book reader and enjoyed taking pictures. Anton was a Master of Bible Theology and a Mensa Scholar.
Anton is survived by his mother, Yvonne; brothers, Jim and Leesa McGill, Dr. Eric Bernhoffer, and Christopher and Monica Bernhoffer; niece, Amanda Bernhoffer; nephew, James Lee McGill; great nephew, Justin Lee McGill; and aunt, Viola Cheetwood. He was preceded in death by his father, Anton.
A Memorial Gathering will take place on Saturday, February 2 from 4-6 p.m. in Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. Interment will be held on Monday, February 4 in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
Donations may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.
