Audrey Oster Obituary

Audrey C. Oster, age 92, of Toledo, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the Little Sisters of the Poor Care Center in Oregon, OH surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 30, 1926 in Minster, OH to Edward and Catherine (Utz) Wendeln. Audrey was an inspector for the DeVilbiss Corporation in Toledo. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished time spent with family. Audrey was also a volunteer at David’s House in Toledo. She loved drawing and painting, listening to music, singing, and playing the piano. She was a charter member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church.

Audrey is survived by her son, Kevin (Kathy) Oster; daughters, Karyn (John) Morgenstern and Joette Oster; grandchildren, Jason and Kristy DuChene, Andrew (Beth) Oster, Jolene Morgenstern, and Sarah Morgenstern; great-grandchildren, Haleigh, Paiton, Emma, McKayla, and Logan; She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Catherine Wendeln; husband, Willis “Bill” Oster; son, Steven J. Oster; sister, Regina Glore; and brothers, Edward, Robert, Richard, Cyril, and Walter.

Family and friends may visit on Friday from 2-8 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd., where members of the Regina Coeli Altar Rosary Society will lead a rosary at 6 p.m. Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass in Regina Coeli Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to the Little Sisters of the Poor, or Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.sujkowski.com.
