Marguerite Michalak

Marguerite Mary Michalak age 85, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019. She was born on January 15, 1934 to Arthur J. and Dorothy M. (Austin) Waggoner in Lenawee County, Michigan. She retired from Sun Oil Toledo Refinery in the Transfer and Shipping Department. She was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Point Place.

Margie accomplished much in her life, but none of those accomplishments amount to the pride she took in raising her children. Her hard work, devotion, and love for her children were inspirational and will continue to inspire all who were around her. If someone was in need, she would do everything in her power to help them; she had a big heart and wore it on her sleeve. She was also loved and adored dearly by anyone who knew her. She brought joy to the many lives she touched. Throughout the course of her life, there were tough times, but her strong faith and the love from and for her family kept her going.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Teresa (David) Williams, Timothy (Joyce) Michalak, Clifford (Lynne) Michalak, Steven Michalak, Phillip Michalak and Debra (John) LeVally; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and many loving friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Baby Girl; sons, Albert III and John J.; and sister, Dorothy B. Konwinski.

Visitation will be Friday, January 25 from 3-8 p.m. in Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Road with a Vigil at 7 p.m. Funeral Services will begin on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass in St. John the Baptist Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
