Mary Zaidel

Mary Sniadecki Zaidel, age 99, formerly of Toledo, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Aspen Grove Assisted Living, Lambertville, MI. She was born on June 13, 1919 in Toledo, OH to Lawrence and Josephine (Skarupinski) Palinski. Mary was a graduate of Woodward High School. She was a longtime parishioner of Regina Coeli Catholic Church, serving as a Eucharistic Minister for many years. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker, she loved spending time with her family, friends, and had a passion for gardening.

Mary is survived by her grandchildren, Jennifer (Kevin) Kunkel, Christopher (Melinda) Cook, and Chuck Sniadecki; great grandchildren, Jakob, Brenden, Mariella, and Brianna; and son, Edward Sniadecki. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Eddie Sniadecki and John Zaidel; son, David Sniadecki; daughter, Darlene Cook; grandson, David Sniadecki; brothers, Walter and Stanley Palinski; and sisters, Angie Davis, Lottie Tonkel, Helen Beach, and Marge Szczepaniak.

Visitation will be Friday, February 1, from 9-11 a.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. The Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Deacon James Dudley presiding. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
