Roger Evans Obituary

Roger G. Evans, age 95, of Temperance, MI and formerly of Toledo passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Glendale Assisted Living. He was born on April 5, 1923 in Grayling, MI to William P. and Helene (Babbitt) Evans. Roger worked as a glassworker at Libbey Owens Ford for 33 years, retiring in 1978. He was a WWII Army Veteran and a past member of VFW Post #2898. Roger collected die-cast model cars and very much enjoyed camping, especially in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Roger is survived by his granddaughters, Carol (Damian) Brickner and Danielle (Kevin Cable) Dullinger; grandson, Aaron (Kelly) Dullinger; step-daughter, Mary (Tim) Paszko; Great-granddaughters, Lillianna and Alexandria Cable; nieces, Nina Mae Kroll and Jeannie Smith; nephew, William Evans Jr.; best friends, John Dullinger, Sally Redfox, and Roy Campbell as well as many beloved members of the Demoe family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-parents, Earl (Bernice) Domoe; brother, William Evans Jr.; and wife, Mary Rose (Gillis) Evans.
