Andrew Kaufman Obituary

Andrew Joseph Kaufman, 57, of Toledo, OH passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio’s Ebeid Hospice Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 7, 1967 in Toledo, OH to Jon and Theresa (Dziewiatka) Kaufman. Andrew was a graduate of Springfield High School in Holland, OH. A well-read and highly intelligent individual, he was a talented artist who worked in stained glass and calligraphy as well as other mediums. He loved cooking and baking and trying new recipes. He also loved listening to music and watching science fiction movies.

Andrew is survived by his sisters, Regina (Frank) Veres and Elaine (Peter) Simon; nieces and nephews, Frank Ryan Veres, Julianne (Brian) Brown, Alexandra (Kalen) Bloom, and Rachel Simon; and great-nieces and nephews, Benjamin Bloom, Josephine Brown, Abram Bloom, John Brown, and “two on the way”; and faithful canine companion, “Brandy”.  

The funeral Mass for Andrew will be Monday, January 20 at 11 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 4555 N Haven Ave, Toledo, OH 43612 preceded by visitation at the church from 10 - 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
