Angeline T. “Peggy” (Malecki) Maluchnik, age 96, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio’s Toledo Facility surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 24, 1927 in Toledo, Ohio to Michael and Pearl (Nowak) Malecki. Peggy worked over 35 years as a production operator for Jeep Corporation and was extremely active within the community. She was a member of St. Hyacinth Seniors, the American Legion Przybylski Post 642 Auxiliary, and T.A.P.S. Peggy also loved to bowl with her husband, and other Jeep and Champion retirees. A loving mother, grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother, she will be dearly missed.
Peggy is survived by her daughter, Darlene Bell; sons, Michael (Debbie) and Joseph (Kathy) Maluchnik; grandchildren, Bree (Brian) Whitman, Joshua (Maria) Matthew (Nikki), Rebecca, Rachel, and Katie (Scott Cameron) Maluchnik, Lynette (Gage) Hurst, and Nathan, Allana, and Nick Bell; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Joan Forsythe. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph; son-in-law, David Bell; sisters, Clara (Wilton) Gaudin, Edna Malecki, Irene (Stanley) Rosinski, and Eleanor Miller; and brothers, Daniel (Dorothy), Edwin (Theresa) and Richard Malecki.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 15 from 3-8 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be Thursday, November 16 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maumee. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
