Aniceta "Anita" Jurewicz

Aniceta “Anita” Jurewicz, age 94, of Toledo, and formerly of E. Hudson St., passed peacefully on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on March 5, 1929, in Rymowicze, Poland to Wincenty and Maria (Radzwill) Roginski.  Anita enjoyed being a homemaker, gardening, knitting, crocheting, and sewing.  She was a former parishioner of St. Adalbert Catholic Church, where she served as part of the Altar Rosary Society, and a current parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church.  A constant contributor, Anita was also a member of the Ladies Catholic Benevolent Association, Polish Culture Club, and the Polish Army Veterans Post #74 Auxiliary.

Anita is survived by her daughters, Alice (Leonard) Chudzinski, and Teresa (Steve) Mosley; 6 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Waclaw Jurewicz; a baby son; daughter, Krystyna Reed; and grandson, Ted Mroz. 

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 19 from 2-7 p.m. in Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. with recitation of the rosary at 6:30 p.m.  Funeral Services will begin Wednesday, September 20 at 9:45 a.m. in the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass in Christ the King Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
