Annette Marie Domanski Silas, age 79, of Toledo, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025 at Mercy St. Anne Hospital. She was born on February 2, 1946 in Toledo to William and Vernal (Kwiatkowski) Domanski. Annette was a graduate of Whitney Vocational High School. She retired from Erie Drugs after working for 8 years as a Pharmacy Technician and had previously worked at Stanley’s market and as a desk clerk at the Radison Hotel. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and past president of the Mother’s Club at St. Adalbert Catholic Church where she also served as Eucharistic Minister and Lector.
Annette is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Joe A. Silas, (married September 17, 1966); daughter, Shirley Silas (Ronald Rutkowski); son, William Silas; brother, Robert Domanski; nephew, Robert Domanski Jr.; “adopted son”, Bryan Pacholski and Bryan’s children, Bella, Brody, and Bea; and lifelong friends, Rusty Suchodolski, Nancy Kowalski, and Rob Sarahman. She will also be missed by her three beloved cats. Annette was preceded in death by her parents; and stepfather, Lawrence L. Miller.
Visitation will be Monday, March 31 from 2-7 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. Funeral services will begin Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass in Sts. Adalbert & Hedwig Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
