Autum Harding Obituary

Autum Crystal Gail Harding, age 20, of the Toledo area, passed away at Toledo Hospital on Monday, September 19, 2022.  She was born on April 1, 2002 in Oregon, OH to Jon-David Harding and Brandie (Kille) Guinn.  Autum was a graduate of Bowling Green High School’s class of ’21.  After graduation she found a love for the kind of active work she experienced in manufacturing, most recently at Comfort Line Ltd.

Autum was a true “Flower Child” and every family member has their own special memories of spending time with her.  She will be remembered for her bright smile, warm and loving spirit, and for choosing to always see the good in others or to find joy in most any situation.  At family gatherings she could be found playing with her young cousins, constantly entertaining them.  Autumn loved being outdoors walking trails, camping, learning to fish with her brother, Daniel, and sitting by the fire pit late into the night talking with her Dad.  She enjoyed cooking, especially experimenting with new recipes, using her Great-Grandpa Barrow’s stand mixer and Great-Aunt Karen’s baking set.  Autum was also an experienced traveler going with Grandma Harding to Niagara Falls, New York City, and Chicago (where her little cousin Maddy would inquire “I wonder what color her hair will be this time?”).  In 2019, she and her dad planned an adventure across the country, choosing back roads and small towns on their way to see the Grand Canyon.  Autum loved so many things: visits to The Toledo Art Museum, jewelry making, photography, dress up, camping with Mom and family at Indian Lake, Broadway shows, and all kinds of music.  Her vibrant spirit will be remembered and cherished by everyone who knew and loved her.

Autum is survived by her mother, Brandie Guinn; father, Jon (Holly Biggs) Harding; brother, Daniel Ruiz; sisters, Jasmine Thompson, Estrella Ruiz, Flora and Georgia Stephens, and Angellica Abraham; grandparents, David and Sandra Harding, Fred (Tammy) Kille, Evonna (Bill) Starkloff, John (Brenda) Biggs Sr. and Evangeline Biggs; niece, Valentina Schere; 13 aunts; 9 uncles; and many loving cousins.  She was preceded in death by her uncle, Freddy Kille; great-Yia-Yia, Georgia Petros; and great-grandpa, Irvin Barrow.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 29, from 1-6 p.m. in Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd.  The funeral home service will begin at 6 p.m. with Sr. Virginia Welsh, OSF presiding.  A memorial gathering and tree planting will be held in early spring.

Our consolation is that Autum is now enveloped in the loving arms of God, finally knowing fully the peace and joy Jesus promised.  Please share memories and condolences at www.sujkowski.com.
