Barbara Ann (Haney) Pacer

Barbara Ann Pacer (Haney), age 84, of Toledo, and formerly of Lyman Rd., passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Mercy St. Anne Hospital. She was born on February 13, 1940, in Toledo, Ohio to Edward and Alice (Mruk) Adamczewski.  Barbara was a graduate of Libbey High School. Over the years, she worked as a sales associate for Ontario’s and LaSalle’s Department Stores, preparing tax returns out of her home, and being a manager for H&R Block. Barbara was most proud of being the owner and operator of Pacer’s Catering. A collector of everything, she also enjoyed reading the Newspaper and magazines from cover to cover. She was a member and Past President of the CWV Jude Thaddeus Post 1675 Auxiliary.  Barbara was a longtime parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she will be deeply missed.

Barbara is survived by her sons, Andrew (Mary Beth Delatorre) Pacer, and Christopher (Wendy) Pacer; grandchildren, Zachary (Isabelle Romano) Pacer, Drew Pacer, and Kyle and Mollie; and great-grandson, Bryson.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Pacer; sisters, Rose Adamczewski, and Patricia Prushia; and brothers, John and Steve Adamczewski.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 6 from 3-8 p.m. in Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd., where members of the CWV Jude Thaddeus Post 1675 Auxiliary will recite the rosary at 6 p.m. Funeral services will begin Friday at 9:45 a.m. in the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
