Betty Thomas Obituary

Betty Irene Thomas, age 91, formerly of Toledo’s Point Place Community, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2020 at Kingston of Perrysburg surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 24, 1928 in Hopewell, KY to Charles and Alene (Hannah) Love. Betty was employed as a sales associate for the LaSalle’s Department Store in downtown Toledo A member of the West Central Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother who loved caring for her family and home.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bryan Benton Thomas; and son, Thomas Howard Thomas. She is survived by her children, Bryan (Elida) Thomas II, Betsy (Mark) Jones, and Jon Thomas; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and siblings, Leona Roberts and Oliver (Kay) Gilbert.

Graveside services will be private at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 419-476-9176.
