Bradley Ray Obituary

Bradley Matthew “Brad” Ray, 40, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly, although peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 26, 2022.  He was born to Samuel and Susan (Bailey) Ray, Sr.  Brad attended Christ the King school and church, and Whitmer High School class of 2000.  He worked for Sofo Foods for over 20 years, enjoying his time with his Sofo work family.  Brad moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for several years, working for Bruce Rossmeyer Harley Davidson, only to return to Sofo Foods.  Brad was a happy loving guy. When you met Brad, you became an immediate friend.  Brad loved his family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors.  In his spare time, Brad loved motorcycling, camping, watching movies, music videos, and always spending time with friends and family.  Brad was proud to be a homeowner, growing his own vegetables and trying new recipes, enjoying his Koi Pond, and talking with neighbors.  He loved all animals, tending to his own collection of pets.

Brad is survived by his father, Samuel Ray, Sr., his mother and stepfather, Susan and Dan Sunday, brother, Sam Ray, Jr., stepbrothers, Keith (Melissa) Sunday, and Danny (Kendra) Sunday.  His beloved nephew and nieces Collin, Tessa, and Abby; Grandmother, Sharon Bailey, Uncles Bill (Cindy) Bailey, Walt (Maria) Bailey, and Aunt MaryAnn (Mike) Zattau. Life-long friends Neal Schaefer and Gary Morse.

Brad will be missed by all who were lucky enough to call him family and friend. His mother will miss their morning drivetime chats.
