Camille Ann “Candy” Bialecki, age 88, of Toledo, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021 at the Parkcliffe Care Center. She was born September 7, 1932 in Toledo, OH to Stanley and Helen (Konczal) Swiatek. After graduating from Whitney Vocational High School, she worked for Mr. Kiegel Distributors for nearly 30 years. Camille was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker. She was a parishioner of St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Catholic Church since 1961.
Camille enjoyed gardening when she was able. An avid reader, she read anything and everything from junk mail to the many magazines she subscribed to. She was a fast reader and could read a book in a day. She loved cooking, watching cooking shows, and reading cookbooks and cooking magazines. Holidays were her favorite and she made every holiday special, from her cooking to her generous gift giving. She especially loved Christmas when she could display her extensive Santa and ornament collections and set up the biggest Christmas tree she could possibly fit in the house. She also never missed a birthday or anniversary for friends and family.
Camille enjoyed traveling with her husband Robert, including annual trips to Myrtle Beach, a train trip out West, 25th anniversary trip to Hawaii, and a road trip to Florida for her niece’s wedding. The family didn’t know if they were ever coming back, they had made so many stops on the way home which included of course, a trip to Myrtle Beach. Camille also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, and watching tennis, golf, and bull riding on TV. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and a good party!
Camille was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Bialecki; daughter, Lisa Terry; sons, Randy and Tim Bialecki; brother, David Swiatek; and sister, Leona Pioterek.
