Chester D. “Chet” Krieger, 86, of Temperance, MI passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 at ProMedica Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, OH. He was born February 7, 1936 in Toledo, OH to Walter and Stella (Jagodzinski) Krieger. He graduated from Woodward High School in 1954. Chet was employed as a tool and die maker & repairman for several area shops including Toledo Mold, Doehler Jarvis, and Riehle Manufacturing. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, and socializing with his friends at PRCUA where he was a longtime member. He was a former parishioner of St. Hedwig Catholic Church and a current member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church in Toledo.
Chet’s survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Brooks (dec. Geof) of Randleman, NC; son, Kenneth Krieger (Renee) of Ypsilanti, MI; and grandchildren, Rachel Krieger, John and Benjamin Brooks. Special family members include Tami Evans (Troy) and Kim Messinger (Nick). He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Helen Daniels; brothers, Ted, Leonard, Joseph, Harry, Walter, and Daniel Krieger and longtime companion, Gloria Kwiatkowski.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 27 from 9-11 a.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. George Mahas presiding. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
