Daniel Ramon Barboza

Daniel Ramon Barboza, age 47, of Toledo passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 11, 2023. He was born on July 26, 1976 in Toledo, OH to Pablo Pecina and Melinda Sanchez. Daniel attended St. Vincent and St. Hedwig grade schools and was a graduate of Woodward High School. He was employed as a sales agent for Taylor Hyundai in Perrysburg and Dave White Chevrolet in Maumee. A music promoter as well, he booked bands for many concerts in the Toledo area. Daniel enjoyed going to antique auctions. More than anything he loved being with family and friends. He was a true “people person”.

Daniel is survived by his mother, Melinda Sanchez; children, Staff Sgt. Maricia (Ramiro) Rodriguez, Daniel Barboza II, Melainia Barboza, and Melia Barboza; and grandchildren, Jamell Cole and Camila Rodriguez. Also surviving are his siblings, Sabina Rodriguez, Alfredo Jaso, and Alicia (Chaz) Boes; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ramon and Alicia Barboza; uncle, Roberto “Bob” Guerrero; and nephew, Sebastian “Sob Sob” Guerrero III.

Visitation will be Friday, November 24 from 3-8 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd.  The funeral service will be Saturday, November 25 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Carl Jackson presiding. Interment will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
