David A. Goldsworthy, age 64, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021 at ProMedica Flower Hospital. He was born February 18, 1957 in Toledo, OH to Gayle and Eleanor (Hawley) Goldsworthy. A graduate of Start High School “Class of 1976”, David retired after 20 years from NSS Enterprises in 2019. He was also employed at A&Z Die Cast Co. and Rowe Industries. David was known for his meticulous nature. Every task he completed, no matter how mundane, was done with great care. He cherished his family, and his happiest times were when they were all together at their cottage on Rose Lake near Coldwater, MI.
David is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Debbie (McCally) Goldsworthy (married June 2, 1979); children, Scott (Amanda) Goldsworthy and Amy (Dan) Phillips; grandchildren, Noah Phillips, Emma Ries, and Finn Phillips; sister, Joy Whitt; and canine companion, “Lily”. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Diana, Gayle “Rick”, and Hugh “Jamie” Goldsworthy.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 25 from 4-8 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Deacon James Dudley presiding. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
