David Lee Jesionowski

David Lee “Big Jess” Jesionowski, age 85, of Toledo, passed away at home on Friday, January 24, 2025. He was born on May 3, 1939 in Toledo, OH to Thaddeus and Rose (Szafarek) Jesionowski. David grew up in Lagrinka - Toledo’s Historic Polish Village. He attended St. Vincent de Paul grade school and Woodward High School. David was employed as a press assistant and truck driver for Pexco Packaging for 15 years. He also worked for the Dana Corporation and Doehler Jarvis, and as a pin-setter/mechanic at Skowronek’s bowling alley. He was a former parishioner of St. Adalbert Catholic Church.

David is survived by his children, Gregory, Jeffrey, Lori, and Melissa; and brother, Thomas Jesionowski. Also surviving are grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Kenrick Jesionowski.
