Donna Marie Henry

Donna Marie Henry, 92, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at Ebeid Hospice, Sylvania, OH surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on January 23, 1931 in Toledo, OH to Francis A. and Vera M. (Wulf) Lemley.  Donna attended St. Mary’s Grade School and Notre Dame High School.  After marrying Ralph “Pat” Henry, she became a wonderful homemaker devoting her life to family and faith.  Donna was a long-time parishioner of St. Clement Church.  A generous person, she was extremely passionate about volunteering with Pat at Bittersweet Farms.  She enjoyed her daily crossword puzzles and rooting for her favorite teams, the Detroit Tigers and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.  Always up to date on her current events, Donna loved debating both politics and religion with her son David.  She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother with a beautiful soul and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Donna is survived by her sons, Gary, Michael (Lisa), David (Jodi Szabo), and Steven Henry; daughters, Patricia (Rand) Shiverdecker, Carolyn (Mike) Kowalski, and Marilyn Metzger; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law and close friend, Judy Lemley.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pat; daughter, Sandy Zegarlowicz; and grandson, Kevin Kowalski.

The Funeral Mass for Donna will be Thursday, June 29 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Clement Catholic Church, preceded by visitation in the church from 9:30-10:30 a.m.  Entombment will be private in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
