Dorothy Mary Wilczynski, of Perrysburg, passed away peacefully on her 100th Birthday at St. Clare Commons, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 16, 1925 in Swanton, OH to Clement and Stephanie (Kujawa) Kuras. Dorothy worked as an assembler for the Jeep Corporation for 10 years, and in the kitchen at the Bungalow restaurant on Airport Highway for 20 years. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, she was an excellent cook who loved preparing the ethnic dishes of her Polish heritage. She also enjoyed dancing the polka with her friends at the Moose Lodge. She was a charter parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband Melvin Wilczynski in 1969; and siblings, Sylvia Bialicki and Jerry Kuras. She is survived by her children, Delores (Bob Kemp) Polland, Margaret (Calvin) Buckmaster, Mark Wilczynski, and David (Tracy) Wilczynski; grandchildren, Chris (Donna) Harrsen, Monica (Freddy) VonEssen, Nathan Mikolajczyk, Elizabeth (Stella) Wilczynski, Lara (Justin) Milson, Britney Wilczynski, Austin (Kylie) Wilczynski, and Callie (Eric) Patterson; 6 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Services for Dorothy will be private. Memorial donations may be given to Southern Living Hospice. Arrangements were entrusted to Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 419-476-9176. Condolences can be shared at www.sujkowski.com.
