Frank Joseph Yunker II

Frank Joseph Yunker II, age 79, of Toledo, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026 at the Franciscan Care Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 29, 1946 in Toledo, OH, to Frank and Rose (Bonowicz) Yunker. A barber by profession, Frank was employed by GM Powertrain as a machine operator and worked his last 10 years there in diecast relief, retiring in October of 2004. Frank enjoyed spending time with family and friends as well as boating and fishing. He was a parishioner of Regina Coeli Catholic Church.

Frank is survived by his wife, Carol, whom he married on September 23, 1965; son, Frank J. “Stinky” (Judy) Yunker III; daughter, Kendra L. (Richard “Doug”) Ritz; brother, Mike Yunker; sister, Marie Diehl; step-sister, Carol Konczal; step sister-in-law, Marlene Rosinski; grandsons, Nicholas and Zachary (Brittany) Ritz; and great-grandchildren, Brody, Sawyer, and Rowan Ritz. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Ollie Rosinski; sister, Jackie (Carl) Polzin; stepbrother, Ronald Rosinski; and step brother-in-law, Mike Konczal. 

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 26 from 3-7 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. Funeral services will begin Wednesday at 9: 30 a.m. in the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass in Regina Coeli Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens.
