Genevieve Theresa "Genny" Muszynski

Genevieve Theresa “Genny” Muszynski, age 91, of Toledo passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Point Place Skilled Nursing and Rehab. She was born on July 24, 1930 in Toledo, OH to Anthony and Eva (Sieja) Grajczyk. Genny was a graduate of Libbey High School. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker, she worked at one time at Electric Autolite and enjoyed being an “Avon Lady” for many years. She was a wonderful cook and baker, known for preparing enough food to feed the entire neighborhood for holidays and special occasions. She also enjoyed playing darts with her friends on the Women’s Invitational Dart Ball League. She was a parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church and longtime faithful member of the church choir. Singing with the choir was always one of her greatest joys.

Genny was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur J. Muszynski in 1995; and siblings, Evelyn Walinski, Rose Beauregard, Raymond, Floyd, and Tony Grajczyk. She is survived by her children, Jan Muszynski, Brenda Griner, Theresa Lambert (John Slee), and Michael (Heather) Muszynski; grandchildren, Traci (Nick) Fackelman, Tony Muszynski, Brittany Muszynski, and Daniel Lambert; great granddaughter, Ivy Fackelman; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 27 from 2-6 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. where members of the St. Catherine Marian Society will lead a rosary at 4 p.m. Funeral services will begin Monday at 9:45 a.m. in the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass in St. Catherine Of Siena Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
