Gerald Thomas “Jerry” Kubicki, 93, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 21, 1929 to Casimer and Agnes (Stepnick) Kubicki. Jerry worked as a lineman and installer, and in the data department at Ohio Bell, now AT&T, for 38+ years. He continued to serve the community later in life by working as a bus driver for Washington Local School District and for the YMCA Daycare Program. Jerry was known as an extremely versatile man, and his family fondly remembers how “he could do anything”. His hobby was String Art and he was very proud of his talent. Jerry was a former parishioner of St. Anthony and currently a parishioner of Regina Coeli Catholic Church. Jerry was always involved with his children and grandchildren with all of their endeavors.
Jerry is survived by his sons, Dale (Sue), Michael, and Gerald Jr. “Tom” Kubicki; daughter Cynthia (Ronald) Deca; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth; sister, Lillian Kujawa; brother, Richard Kubicki; and granddaughter, Amy Kubicki.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 16 from 2-8 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. with a Rosary at 6 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home Friday at 10 a.m. and continue with the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Regina Coeli Church.
