Geraldine Ann Kujawa

Geraldine Ann Kujawa, age 78, formerly of Florentine Dr. and Danesmore Rd. in Toledo, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Highlands Health & Rehabilitation, Memphis, TN surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on June 5, 1947 in Toledo, OH to Phillip and Tillie (Osinski) Tesznar. A graduate of Whitney High School, she worked in the administration offices at the Medical College of Ohio for 20 years, designing brochures and assisting with computer programming.  When she retired from MCO she enjoyed her volunteer work at Heartbeat of Toledo. Geraldine was a gifted craftswoman who loved crocheting afghans and cartoon character themed stuffed toys for friends and family. She was a great cook, always cooking lots of food and providing everyone with leftovers, especially around the holidays. She enjoyed gardening as well. She was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Geraldine is survived by her son, Keith (Suzanne) Kujawa; daughter, Denise (Jon) Luna; grandchildren, Samantha (Patrick Schroeder) Kujawa and Nicholas Kujawa; and brother, Michael Tesznar. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Kevin John Kujawa; and by her husband Michael Kujawa on March 16, 2022.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 10, from 4 - 7 p.m. and Thursday from 10 – 11 a.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. The funeral service will begin Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Deacon Mark Genovesi presiding. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
