Gloria Jean Johnson

Gloria Jean Johnson, age 59, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away at home on Friday, February 20, 2026, surrounded by her family after a brief battle with cancer. She was born on September 20, 1966, in Lima, Ohio, to Eugene and Joanne (Krysiak) Michalski. Gloria graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1984. She married Christopher Johnson, and together they raised their family. Gloria worked as an Intake Clerk at Unison Mental Health for 20 years before retiring to focus on caring for her family. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones and, in her early years, camping with friends from the Commodore Club.

She is survived by her husband, Christopher; children, Jeremy Stein and Jordan (Cory) Zalesak; grandson, Aidan Mitchell; nephew, Brandon (Angie) Michalski; and many friends and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Gerry.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2026, with a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd., in Toledo. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
