Heidi Ann Duda, age 48, of Columbus, OH and formerly of Toledo passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022. Heidi was born at Fort Hood in Killen, TX on December 13, 1973. After her father’s military service, they moved to Toledo, OH. Heidi attended St. Adalbert Grade School and Calvin M. Woodward High School. After High School she moved to Columbus to attend ITT Technical Institute and later Phlebotomy School, but her passion was bartending. She tended bar at several Columbus establishments including the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Max & Erma’s, and Eddie George’s. Heidi loved riding her Harley-Davidson motorcycles. She also loved to travel; she never met a stranger along the way! A true friend to many, she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Heidi is survived by her mother, Ann Duda (dear friend Wayne Hausman); father and stepmother, Ron and Lela Duda; sons, Wyatt Lee and Cody; aunts, Sue Fitzpatrick, Bonnie Shankle, and Lori Hurlbert; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Duda in 2000.
A Funeral Mass for Heidi will be Friday, May 13 at 10 a.m. in Sts. Adalbert & Hedwig Catholic Church, 3233 Lagrange St., Toledo. Inurnment will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
