Helen J. Ignasiak

Helen J. Ignasiak, age 98, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Spring Meadows Nursing Home, Holland,OH. She was born on April 28, 1926 in Toledo, OH to Victor and Josephine (Dupcinski) Zmijewski. Helen worked as a computer operator for Owens Illinois and Pinkerton Insurance. She also was a dance instructor at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio. Her memberships included the Golden Emblem Club and the Maumee Seniors.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Ignasiak in 1996; sister, Sophie Kowalski; and brothers, Joseph and Stanley Zmijewski. Surviving are nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, March 17, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Gerald Chmiel presiding. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
