Helen Reese

    Helen Reese, 91, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at St. Clare Commons, Perrysburg, Ohio. She was born May 2, 1930 in Yonkers, NY to Peter and Josephine (Kiak) Reigle. Helen was a graduate of Yonkers High School and a US Air Force veteran. She was employed as an office manager at the Art Kuhn Company. After her retirement from the Art Kuhn Company, she worked at the American Red Cross. A longtime parishioner of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, she was an active volunteer for many years.

  Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack Reese in 1977; her brother, John Reigle; and her son-in-law, Randy Rall. She is survived by her children, John (Carol) Reese, Patricia Rall, Peggy (Kevin) Thanasiu, Michael (Barb) Reese, Robert (Robin) Reese, and Mary Jo (Tom) Sutton; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law, Claire Reese; and many nieces and nephews.

  The family will gather for a private committal service with military honors led by the VFW 606 Burial Corps at Calvary Cemetery on Friday, October 15. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 419-476-9176. Condolences may be shared at www.sujkowski.com.
