James "Jimbo" Edward Whitt

James Edward Whitt, age 58, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio Ebeid Residence. He was born on February 16, 1967, in Painesville, Ohio, to Sherman Lee and Janie Marie (Hash) Whitt.

Jim worked for many years as a car salesman and was known for his outgoing personality and warm sense of humor. He enjoyed fishing, cookouts, and traveling—especially cruises—with Maui being his favorite destination. Affectionately known as “Jimbo,” he will be remembered for his generous spirit and love for his family and his dogs, Sadie and Lexi.

He is survived by his beloved soulmate, Jennifer Bradfield; his siblings, Joyce Soto-Pacheco, Pamela Oquendo, Daniel Lee Whitt, and Timothy Ray (Kat) Whitt; and by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Robert Leroy Whitt; and his nephew, Saul Soto-Pacheco.
