James John Wodarski

James John Wodarski, age 84, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025 at The Lakes of Monclova in Maumee, OH. He was born November 25, 1940 in Toledo, OH to Sigmund and Sophie (Banaszak) Wodarski. James worked as a roofer for over 50 years and was a member of Roofers Union 134. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he loved spending time with his family. He was an avid hunter as well as a lifelong “Buckeyes” fan. He was a member of St. Hyacinth Catholic Church.

James is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Judith (Gubanski) Wodarski; children, Laura Price, Julie Wodarski, and Robert Wodarski; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings; daughter, Lee Ann Wagner; and sons, James and Jeff Wodarski.

A Memorial Mass for James will be celebrated on Saturday, June 28 at 11 a.m. at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church, preceded by visitation at the church from 10 - 11 a.m.
