Janice Faye Przybysz, age 79, of Toledo’s Point Place community, passed away at home on Saturday, July 19, 2025. She was born on May 11, 1946 in Toledo, OH to John and Doris (Baker) Karamol. A graduate of Rogers High School, she was employed as a data entry clerk in the registrar’s office at the University of Toledo for over 38 years, retiring in 2007. Janice was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker whose favorite pastime was being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a terrific cook, known for her pierogi and tender roast beef dinners. She loved making pierogi with others while teaching them to carry on the family tradition. She also enjoyed trips to Costco and giving treats to her dogs, Mary Jane and Winnie. She was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
Janice is survived by her children, Kelly (Larry Sitkaukaus) Przybysz, Mark (Debbie Sue) Przybysz, and Amanda Przybysz; grandchildren, Kirsten (Cody) Beard, Taylor Boyer, and Hayden Boyer; and great-grandchildren, Ellie, Oaklee, Rhettlee, and Kodie Beard. Also surviving are her former husband, Robert “Jake” (Kathleen Stevenson) Przybysz; sister, Linda Arent; brother-in-law, Dennis Coy; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Phyllis Coy; and brother-in-law, Fred Arent.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 23 from 4-8 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. Funeral services will begin Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass in Regina Coeli Church at 10 a.m.
