Jennel Marie Lauman Castro

Jennel Marie Lauman Castro, 34, of Toledo passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022. She was born on March 14, 1988 in Toledo, OH to Ron and Marie (Bienko) Lauman. Jennel was a graduate of Whitmer High School, “Class of 2007”. A loving stay-at-home mom and homemaker, she was devoted to caring for her children; they were everything to her. She was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. When Jennel walked into a room you always knew she was there. Her infectious smile will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Jennel is survived by her parents; children, Logan, Serenity, Faith, and Renesme Castro; brothers, Ron (Nikki) Lauman II and Adam (Sara) Duran; nieces, Cordelia Lauman and Karmen Duran; nephews, Lucas and Oliver Lauman and Jason Duran; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 10 from 2-8 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. with a scripture service at 7 p.m.  Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. in the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass in St. John the Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
