Joan Helen Anello

  Joan Helen Anello, 87, of  Point Place, passed away at home after a brief illness on December 16, 2020. She was born October 3, 1933 in Toledo, OH to John and Helen (Orosz) Pereszlay.  Joan enjoyed her job at “The Paper Clip” at Southland Shopping Center where she was employed for 20 years. A loving mom and homemaker, she was actively involved with her daughters’ girl scout activities. Joan and 7 close friends started a Pinochle club, meeting at each other’s homes for 40 years to play cards. She was a longtime member of Point Place United Church of Christ.

  Joan is survived by her daughters, Janice (Robert) Wahl and Jackie (Marty) Wegman; and sister, Delores Bradner. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard Pereszlay; and former husband, John Anello.

  A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 419-476-9176.
