Joan Marie (Gasiorowski) Nowacki joined her beloved husband, Adolph, in heaven on August 24, 2023, surrounded by her children. Joan was born on June 27, 1931, to Dominic and Salome (Kujawa) Gasiorowski. She attended St. Anthony grade school and graduated from Whitney Vocational High School in June of 1949. She met the love of her life Adolph, and the two were married in November of 1949. They were married for 62 years, until Adolph’s death in 2011.
Joan was a loving wife, mother, busia, and friend. She was a very talented and intelligent woman. Joan loved to cook Sunday dinners for her family. For many years she enjoyed serving as a volunteer in the parish office of The Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, where she was a parishioner for 53 years. Joan enjoyed sewing and golfing. She and Adolph enjoyed spending time with their friends as a part of their “Frick and Frack” golf group, and pinochle group the “Schuranomoruskis”. Together, they were avid boaters and loved to fish on their boat “The Babe”. They were a sight to behold together on the dance floor.
Joan’s pride and joy was her family and the traditions they shared. She is survived by her children: Jane (Jerry) Patrzalek, Sandy (Dave-deceased) Suter, Mark (Rosanne) Nowacki, Dan (Mary Ann) Nowacki, Pat (Rick) Molnar, and Paul (Laura) Nowacki, grandchildren: Leslie (Christopher), Jason (Tracy), Tom (Laura), Beth (Michael), Joe (Jamie), Nick, Brian (Christina), Matthew, Bradley, Adam (Kim), Britney (Anthony), and Kayla (Blake), great grandchildren: Chelsea (David), Ashley, Andrew, Brett, Tyler, Isaac, Simon, Gabriel, Noelle, Jeremiah, Allison, Joey, Isabella, Devon, Robin, Zooey, Harper, Emma Joan, Nora, Carson, and Parker, and great-great grandson: Maverick.
