Joan Marie Wodarski

Joan Marie Wodarski, age 80, of Sylvania, OH passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Park Terrace Nursing Home and Rehab. She was born on December 28, 1942 in Toledo, OH to Joseph and Alice (Grigas) Lotozynski. Joan was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker, she loved being with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandsons. Joan was a foster mom for many children over the years through Catholic Charities. She was a former parishioner of Marygrove Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Joan is survived by her children, Suzanne Wodarski, John F. Wodarski Jr., and Charles Kendall; grandchildren, John (Kelsey) Wodarski III and Kyrsten (David) Brown; and great-grandsons, Benjamin Charles and Emmett Lee Wodarski. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Floyd Wodarski; brother, Joseph Lotozynski; sister, Diane McDevitt; and daughter-in-law, Shawna Wodarski.

Services will be private. Interment will be in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 419-476-9176.
