Joan Marie Wolniewicz

Joan Marie Wolniewicz, age 80, of Toledo passed away Friday, October 20, 2023 at the Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. She was born December 13, 1942 in Toledo, OH to Stanley and Angeline (Gryniewicz) Wolniewicz. Joan was a graduate of St. Hyacinth Grade School and DeVilbiss High School. She was an office worker for many years at Mayflower Moving. A longtime parishioner of St. Hyacinth Catholic Church and member of the church’s Altar Rosary Society, Joan was a regular volunteer at church dinners. She enjoyed gardening and gathering with friends as a member of the 50+ Club at Gesu Catholic Church.  

Joan was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by many cousins and their families.

The Funeral Mass for Joan will be Wednesday, October 25 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Hyacinth Catholic Church preceded by visitation in the church from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.  Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
