Judith Ann Kaifas

  Judith Ann Kaifas, age 82, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at Cleveland Clinic.  She was born on October 18, 1941 in Toledo, Ohio to Walter and Theresa (Kucharski) Roman.  Judy was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and St. Vincent Nursing School.  Prior to her retirement, Judy was employed by St. Luke’s Hospital and Mercy St. Vincent Hospital as an operating room nurse. She also worked for Dr. Brookfield as an office nurse.  In addition, Judy worked as a consultant for McFall & Lyons, as well as Standard Textile.  She was a former parishioner of St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Catholic Church.  Judy loved to bake and cook - Thanksgiving dinners were her specialty.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

  Judy is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Patrice), and Paul Kaifas; brothers, Jerome (Joy), and Donald (Sharon) Roman; former husband, James Kaifas; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents. 

 Visitation will be Friday, March 8 from 4-7 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd.  The Funeral Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 9 in the funeral home with Deacon James Dudley presiding.
