Karen M Niewiadomski-Kinsey

Karen M. Niewiadomski-Kinsey, 63, of Toledo, Ohio passed away after a brief illness of liver cancer on April 16, 2021. She was born on October 9, 1957 to Ervin and Gertrude (Bielawski) Niewiadomski. 

Karen was a 1975 graduate of Woodward High School and attended The University of Toledo. She owned and operated D&D Dance Studio in Toledo and choreographed musicals and plays for St. Francis de Sales, Notre Dame Academy, and other various high schools and community theaters for over 35 years.

Her passion for dance, musical theater, and teaching inspired and influenced many students over the years. She was very proud of her students and loved all of them like family. 

Karen will be remembered for her love of life and the legacy she left behind in both the dance/musical theater community and her family. Karen was preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, William, step-daughter, Jaclyn (Dylan) Kalvin, siblings, Carol (Mark) Tyson and Fr. Art Niewiadomski, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Service and visitation will be private. A memorial mass will be planned for a later date.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Toledo Humane Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 419-476-9176.
