Lance James Kretz

Lance James Kretz, age 57, of McKinney, TX, passed away at home on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. He was born in Toledo, OH on December 27, 1967 to Kenneth Bernard and Amelia Rita (Thomas) Kretz. Lance was a natural born salesman with a larger than life personality and could strike up a conversation with anyone. He enjoyed watching Ranger baseball and Cowboys football with his son, Cash. He also enjoyed cooking, and especially grilling, often times taking over the grill. Of all his greatest joys, his most prized was being a loving father to his son.

Lance leaves behind his son, Cash; his mother, Amelia; his siblings, Becky (Tom), Lori, Melissa (Patrick); sister-in-law, Rachel; the mother of his child, Shirley; his step-daughter, Kayla; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth; and older brother, Robert.
