Linda Ann Nyler, age 73, of Temperance, MI and formerly of 283rd Street in Point Place, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023 at the Toledo Hospital. She was born on March 1, 1950 in Toledo, OH to Roman and Lucille (Addison) Kolinski. Linda was a graduate of St. Adalbert Grade School and Whitmer High School, and a former parishioner of Saints Adalbert and Hedwig Catholic Church. She worked at Libbey Glass, Champion Spark Plug for 25 years, retiring from there in 1998, the Point Place Foodtown on Suder Ave. and the K-Mart Department Store on Alexis Road at Jackman. Linda was a skilled crocheter. She had an uncanny memory for dates and never missed a birthday, especially those of her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom she dearly loved.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Timothy J. Nyler; sisters, Doris Coleman and Marsha Ashman; and sister-in-law, Kathy Kolinski. Surviving are her brothers, Robert, Mark (Sharon), Kevin (Abby), and Dennis (Wendy) Kolinski; sister, Debbie (Greg) Dusseau; nieces, nephews, great- nieces and great-nephews; her “Honey”, John Frye; and special friends, Nanette Okorowski and Ann Tefler.
Visitation will be Friday, November 10 from 9 - 10:30 a.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. The funeral services will begin at 10:30 and continue with the Funeral Mass in Sts. Adalbert and Hedwig Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
