Loretta Ann “Mickey” Wisniewski, age 90, of Toledo passed away peacefully on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Ebeid Hospice surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Henry “Hank” and Anna (Bruczynski) Matuszynski on September 13, 1932 in Toledo. Loretta graduated from St. Anthony Grade School and Whitney High School. She worked payroll for Toledo Jewelry Supply, retiring after 30 years. A former parishioner of St. Hyacinth Catholic Church, Loretta was currently a member of St. Clement Catholic Church. She was an avid card player who enjoyed a good game of pinochle and belonged to the woman’s Card Club. She was a wonderful baker, but her greatest love was dancing all over town with her husband, Donald. Loretta was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, busia to her great-grandchildren, sister and friend to many.
Loretta was preceded in death by her forever dance partner, Donald F. Wisniewski; sisters, Mary Landowski, Martha Labiak, and Esther Radwanski; brothers, Melvin, Norman, and Ray Matuszynski; and life-long friend from grade school, Tess. She is survived by her son, Mark (Connie) Wisniewski; daughter, Cindi (DeWayne) Alford; grandchildren, Matthew (Ellen) Wisniewski, Michael (Sara) Wisniewski, Lori (Matt) Vineyard, Brian Rosenbalm, Eric Rosenbalm, Kayla Alford, Travis (Kayla) Alford, and Brittany (Drew) Uitts; 21 great-grandchildren; and life-long friend from grade school, Pat.
Family and friends may visit Tuesday, December 27 from 3-7 pm at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. The Funeral Mass will begin Wednesday, December 28 at 10:30 am in St. Hyacinth Church preceded by visitation in the church from 9:30-10:30 am. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
