Marie Molinski

Marie Molinski, age 99, of Oregon, OH, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 25, 1925, in Lewisburg, Kentucky to Herman and Ruby (Nash) Bailey. Marie was a graduate of Libbey High School and worked as a waitress at Howard Johnson’s, and in the Credit Department at Huntington Bank for 10 years, retiring in 1993. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker, she loved caring for her family - especially her grand and great-grandchildren. Marie enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and dancing to polka and big-band music. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter Molinski in 1995; son, Richard Molinski in 2020; grandchildren, Christopher Roughton, Jakub Molinski, Jason Molinski, and Ashley Molinski; and sisters, Lila Schafer and Irene Meisner.  She is survived by her children, James Molinski, Theresa “Terri” (Daryl) Roughton, Thomas (Jeanette) Molinski, Dennis Molinski, and David Molinski; daughter-in-law, Ruth Molinski; 9 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 2 from 10 a.m. - 12 noon at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd.  Funeral services will begin Wednesday at 12 noon in the funeral home with Rev. Francis Speier presiding. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
