Michael John Boellner

Michael J. Boellner, age 38, of Toledo passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital. He was born on November 13, 1985 in Toledo, OH to John and Tammy (Birr) Boellner. Michael was a graduate of Whitmer High School “Class of 2004”. He was most recently employed as a tool & die apprentice for the Metal Forming Co., and before that worked for his father’s company, JMB Construction, for 10 years. He was a member of UAW Local 12 and Operators Union 18. Michael enjoyed working with his hands and was always happy when he was building something. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed snowmobiling, camping, and gathering with friends around a bonfire. More than anything he loved his children Logan and Leah and was a devoted father to them both.  

Michael is survived by his parents, John and Tammy Boellner; children, Logan and Leah Boellner and their mother, Sharee (Kyle) Yarger; sister, Miranda (Jordan) Pohl; brother, Mitchell (Catherine) Boellner; nephew, Jordan Pohl Jr.; niece, Kira Pohl; and grandmother, Patricia Birr.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 27 from 2-8 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd.  The funeral service will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
