Michael Edward Leady

Michael E. Leady, 82 of Mims, Florida passed away on June 17, 2025. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 17, 1942 and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a former resident of Deltona, Florida and was a mechanical designer in the defense industry. Michael loved animals. He was predeceased by his wife Doris Leady in 2000. Survivors include son David Leady; daughter Laura Leady Boys; step-daughters Sharon Woody and Marsha Collins and grandchildren Edward Michalak, Katherine Leady Stack and Brandi Chaney. A visitation was held on Wednesday, June 25th at Allen-Summerhill Funeral Homes & Crematory in DeLand, Florida. A second visitation will be held at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 East Alexis Road, Toledo, OH on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. A graveside committal service with military funeral honors will be held the same day at 2:00 p.m. at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, Toledo, OH,  where he will be laid to rest.
