Nancy M. Myers

Nancy M. Myers, age 91, of Toledo passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Lakes of Monclova. She was born December 27, 1929 in Toledo, OH to Stanley and Rose (Szymanski) Filipiak. Nancy was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and employed as a product tester for Toledo Edison for 7 years. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker, she was a wonderful cook and baker who enjoyed preparing Polish dishes like kapusta and placzek for her family and friends. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a parishioner of St. Patrick of Heatherdowns and a former parishioner of Nativity Catholic Church.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill “Willy C” Myers; brothers, Bob Filipiak and Gerald “Joe” Filipiak’ and sister, June Stine. She is survived by her sons, Jeff (Susan) Myers and Tim “Bonnie” Myers; grandchildren, Amy Lehnert, Lisa Myers, Scott Myers, Melissa Myers, and Robert Myers; great-grandchildren, Maicy and Travis Lehnert; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 15 from 2-7 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd., with a vigil service at 7 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
