Patricia Ann Dachnowski

Patricia Ann Dachnowski, age 79, of Toledo, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 22, 1946 in Toledo, OH to Floyd and Stefania “Stella” (Szymanski) Haladyna. Pat was a graduate of McAuley High School. She worked at the University of Toledo as an administrative assistant in the Office of Accessibility and in Student Affairs. She was also a licensed cosmetologist. She is a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Temperance, MI and a former parishioner of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved baking and was known for her fabulous Polish coffee cake. Gardening was one of her passions. She loved fishing with her father, Floyd. Her enthusiasm for life was seen in her energetic Polka dancing and love of music. She was also a skilled bowler and member of the “Alley Gators” team. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends Kathy, Janice, and Debbie. Favorite destinations included Ludington, Ft. Myers, and Disney World. Pat’s love of animals could be seen in her frequent visits to the Toledo Zoo. She loved her dogs Scamper, Copper, and Krispy. Always a joy-filled person, Pat found happiness in even the smallest things. She will be dearly missed.

Patricia is survived by her sons, Stephen Bobak and Jason (Jayne) Bobak; grandchildren, Aiden and Calla Bobak; and sisters, Marcia (Larry) Borysiak and Sandy Borysiak. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard A. Dachnowski; nephew, Brian Borysiak; and brother-in -law, Gene Borysiak.

Visitation will be Monday, December 29 from 4-8 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. with a rosary at 7 p.m.  Funeral services will begin Tuesday, December 30 at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10 a.m.  Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Maumee, OH.
