Patricia Rose Sosnowicz

Patricia Rose Sosnowicz, age 88, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2026. She was born on December 17, 1937, in Toledo, OH, to Frank and Josephine (Jankowski) Slowinski. A 1956 graduate of Woodward High School, Patricia worked for 24 years as secretary to the president of Riverside Hospital. Formerly a parishioner of St. Adalbert Catholic Church, she was currently a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Point Place. Patricia loved gardening, cooking, shopping, and was a lover of jewelry. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, and dining out with her husband, Richard. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and homemaker, she treasured time spent with her family, including the special lunches she hosted on Sundays and holidays.

Patricia is survived by her son, Chris Sosnowicz; daughter, Lynn (Greg) Krzyston; grandchildren, Bradley (Amy) Krzyston, Gregory Krzyston, Jason Sosnowicz, Jeremy Farley, and Nick Fortney; 3 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Toni Sosnowicz; sister, Dolores Painter; special sisters-in-law, Karen Sosnowicz, Judy Sosnowicz, and Marlene Slowinski; and many special family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Sosnowicz; son, Richard Sosnowicz Jr., and brothers, Eugene and Frank Slowinski.

Services for Patricia will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 419-476-9176.
