Patricia “Pat” Zakrzewski, age 87, of Toledo, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at Flower Hospital, Sylvania surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 2, 1935 in Toledo, OH to Frank and Stephanie (Wulf) Koczorowski. Pat was a graduate St. Hedwig Grade School and Central Catholic High School. She was employed as a receptionist for Weight Watchers for 38 years, retiring in 2011. She was a former parishioner of St. Hedwig and St. Clement Catholic Churches, and a current member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Pat was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker. She loved hosting family gatherings, and her home was where they always took place. She also enjoyed excursions to area casinos with her husband “Babe”.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband, Alvin “Babe” Zakrzewski. She is survived by her children, Mark (Elaine) Zakrzewski and Sandy Guiliani; 5 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and brother, Frank (Phyllis) Koczorowski.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 29 from 2-7 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd., with a rosary at 6 p.m. Funeral services will begin Friday at 9:45 a.m. in the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass in Christ the King Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be Monday in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
