Pauline R. Tate, age 98, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away at home on Monday, December 30, 2024. She was born in Warren, Ohio to Nicholas and Helen Risko. She grew up in Newton Falls, Ohio and graduated from Newton Falls High School. She later attended and graduated from the Ford Motor Accounting Program. Pauline worked for many years as a secretary and an accountant for Peterson Engineering in Toledo, Ohio. She was an active member of Glenwood Lutheran Church and later, after retirement, she volunteered as an usher at the Toledo Museum of Art and the Stranahan Theater. Her kind and generous heart led her to also volunteer with the Flower Hospital Guild, the Toledo Opera, and the Toledo Symphony. Pauline’s loving memory will be forever treasured.
Left to cherish Pauline’s memory is her daughter, Carol A. Kanfield; and her granddaughter, Andrea R. Kanfield. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Forest King; her second husband, Harry Tate; her siblings, John, Nicholas, Michael, Mary, Helen, Anne, Margaret, and Rose; and her parents, Nicholas and Helen Risko.
Private services were held and arrangements were entrusted to Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd., Toledo, Ohio.
